INB CAREER ORIENTAION 

 

Arguably, the IskoLAr ng Biñan (InB) program of City Mayor Marlyn B. Alonte-Naguiat is one of the country’s most comprehensive college scholarship programs by any local government unit in terms of number of recipients and total budget allocation.

 

Last Tuesday, May 20, 2014, the city government formally welcomed the new batch of InB scholars at the Colegio San Agustin –Biñan campus. The event was highlighted by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the city government and Colegio San Agustin where each party will contribute  equally to each and every InB scholar who will choose to enroll at Colegio San Agustin. That is, 50% of the fund will come from the city government while the other 50% will be provided by the school. Colegio San Agustin is the first tertiary institution in Biñan to enter into such an arrangement with the administration of Mayor Len.

 

To date, there are more than 2,000 scholars enjoying full and partial tuition privileges in all major colleges and universities in Biñan.
