The City Mayor of Biñan is known for her visionary programs and transformative leadership that empower her constituents to become active and productive members of the community. She has made and continue to make history by being the first woman city mayor of Biñan. When she was elected as vice mayor in 2004, she was also the first woman to hold that position. She is also the only public servant in the history of Biñan who ran unopposed during her campaign for a 2nd term in the May 2010 election.

 

Through her inspired leadership, the City of Biñan has achieved several recognitions from both regional and national organizations for its Good Housekeeping practices and its literacy and education programs, among other advocacies.
